INTERNACIONAL RECYCLING DAY

Hoy es el día internacional del reciclado y la clase de sexto de primaria ha hecho una actividad muy especial y divertida con papel reciclado y cds. Today is the international day of recycling and the class of 6TH year, has made a very special and funny activity with recycled paper and a cd.

Ahora os contamos cómo hemos hecho esta rana especial. Now, we´re going to tell you how we have made this special frog.

MATERIALES NECESARIOS - THINGS THAT YOU NEED

• Tijeras - A pair os scissors

• Cartulinas de colores - Colorful cardboard (yellow, green, pink and white)

• Cds viejos - Old cds

• Pegamento - Glue

• Rotulador - Marker

• Lápiz - Pencil

• Tipex - Tipex

PASO A PASO - STEP BY A STEP

• Pon el cd encima de la cartulina verde y luego dibuja las diferentes partes de la rana: el cuerpo, la cabeza y las manos. Put the cd on a green cardboard and then you must draw the diferent parts of the frog: the body, the head and the hands.

• Cuando hayas terminado de cortar estas partes con las tijeras, vamos a empezar a pegar las manos de la rana en la parte trasera del cd. When you have finished cutting these parts with the scissors, we are going to star sticking the hands of the frog on the back of the cd.

• Después, pega el cd con las manos en la cartulina verde como si fuera su cuerpo. Then, glue the cd with the hands on the green cardboard as if it was its body.

• Ahora, vamos ha hacer la cabeza. Coge la cartulina verde (con forma circular) y utiliza el pegamento para pegar los ojos. Now, we are going to make the head. Pick up the green cardboard (with circle shape) and use the glue for sticking the eyes.

• Luego coge el rotulador negro y dibuja los ojos y una sonrisa. Finalmente debes hacer un lazo con las cartulinas rosa y amarilla y pégalo arriba en la cabeza. Then, pick up the black marker and draw the eyes and a happy mouth. Finally, you must make a special ribbon with pink and yellow cardboards and stick on the top of the head.

• Cuando termines la divertida cabeza, debes pegarla junto con el cuerpo y este es el resultado. When you finish your funny head, you must glue the body and the head together and this is the result.

Los alumnos disfrutaron haciendo esta actividad y pasamos un agradable rato con nuestra rana especial. All the pupils have enjoyed makig this activity and we´ve had a lovely time with our special frog.
