All activities related to the Comenius project resulted from the
knowledge of our school's student body and
its desire to contribute towards raising the children's and their families'
awareness of a subject critical to our health and that of future generations.
A summarized version of these activities was organized to create a
spectacular show which was held in the school playground for several
days at the end of May 2015 during which there was a
participation of great commitment from all the students, but also one with
great interest from their families thanks to the topics discussed which
emphasized the importance of preserving the environment and the earth's
resources, most especially for future generations.
The themes for each essay were reported: the exploitation of nature as a
gift that God has given us to take care of, the recycling of various kinds of
materials as a way to not defraud nature of its resources, and saving energy
with a particular attention to the use of adequate appliances in our homes.
Also, during the school year, the children dedicated themselves to the
creation of an organic garden to closely observe the birth and growth of
seedlings which they watered daily and cared for.
